According to Game Politics, the zealous crusader that is John Bruce "Jack" Thompson has finally been disbarred. All at once now: Took them long enough! The fact that it took as long as it did goes to show how inept the entire state of Florida really is.

This coincides with a song written by Danny Ledonne and Cory Antiel called, When Jack Thompson Talks to God.

Today is June 6, 2008-- the day that D&D 4th Edition hits gaming shelves everywhere. Unfortunately for Wizards of the Coast, it was leaked online about a week ago and I'm already disappointed with a few changes in game mechanics. Most notably:

• Every class is straight-forward and has little-to-no customization.
• In 3.5, Cloudkill combined with a high-level Teleport spell could wipe out an entire continent. In 4.0, it's a little puff that disappears at the end of the next turn. LAME!

Other than the fact that they made character development very linear and weakened the best mass-homicide spell, I can't complain too much.
